This agreement, spanning three years with options for two one-year extensions, enables Wood to continue supporting Shell’s efforts to ensure global energy security and facilitate energy transition projects focused on carbon capture, low-carbon fuels, and hydrogen.
Leveraging its expertise in specialist consulting, engineering, procurement, and project management, Wood will play a vital role in Shell’s greenfield and brownfield projects. The company will also contribute its capabilities in decarbonization, digitalization, and asset life extension to enhance Shell’s assets across various locations worldwide.
The strategic partnership between Wood and Shell marks a remarkable 70-year relationship that has extended to over 20 countries and encompassed numerous major projects.
